Avance Metering is looking for a full-time Finance Manager. The location is Östersund, but other locations will be considered.

About the position

In the role, you will work with both operational and strategic issues where you have a responsibility for the ongoing accounting, control, and analysis. You will be responsible for the company's accounting and ongoing reporting in accordance with IFRS as well as financial reporting to the parent company. You will report to the CEO within the company, have the help of an accounting economist (50%) and receive support from Lumine and other companies in the group regarding. In the role, trips may occur to the company's various offices.

The role includes:

  • Overall responsibility for the finance function and its ongoing work

  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts and preparation of annual accounts

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting to ensure that internal and external reporting requirements are met in accordance with IFRS.

  • Be responsible for coordinating the company's payroll administrator and securing payment.

  • Monitor and enforce KPIs.

  • Handle Quarterly Strategic Review

  • Apply best practices to processes, people, and systems to impact revenue, profitability, and cash flow.

From profile

For the role of Finance Lead, we are looking for you who have an academic education or equivalent  in accounting and at least 3-5 years of professional experience in a broad financial role, preferably within a position of responsibility. You have good accounting skills, and we would like you to have experience in both accounting and controlling. The role requires that you are good at communicating and have good knowledge of both Swedish and English. It is a merit if you have experience in accounting for projects in software and experience with IFRS. Experience of financial work in international companies is a merit.

As a person, you are confident, responsible, driven and have a genuine interest in delivering with speed and quality. You have a good strategic ability while being good at analyzing the financial work. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a role where you get the opportunity to demonstrate business acumen and your ability to communicate financial results daily.

Location: Östersund, but other locations will be considered.
